Marketing Coordinator



Summary
  • The Marketing Coordinator is primarily a project driven position responsible for executing high-impact marketing work. The position will compile, analyze, and leverage competitive market data to drive marketing decisions, evaluate market feasibility on current products and new product development, and execute all marketing and promotional activities pursuant to appropriate strategies. The person will be responsible for working with company sales and other departmental associates, and external partner teams to help achieve company growth. The person will market using a wide mix of marketing channels; events, webinars, website, email campaigns, partner network and social media, to name a few. The person will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring marketing campaigns, creating appealing marketing collateral and templates, maintaining promotional materials inventory, coordinating marketing events, tracking sales data, maintaining databases, and preparing reports.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage project deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Analyze industry specific trends.
  • Continually update information regarding competitors’ core product line, company info, websites, and catalogs.
  • Create monthly reports based on sales, bookings, ads vs. sales, top customer sales, etc.
  • Analysis on a variety of promotional activities, calculate and report ROI on marketing initiatives, and make recommendations for improvement to maximize effectiveness and profitability.
  • Collect data and report on completed online customer surveys, according to AS 9100 standards.
  • Brainstorm and execute new ad strategies.
  • Research target markets to determine feasibility of selling a new product.
  • Analyze manufacturing feasibility of current products vs. outsourcing.
  • Create and distribute reports for management, sales representatives, and marketing personnel as directed by management.
  • Work in a safe and professional manner, keep a clean work area, and wear proper protective equipment.
  • Cooperation with supervisor and co-workers, willing to work as a team.
  • Timely arrival and regular attendance at work.
  • Most work will be conducted during normal business hours. Must be willing to work overtime or during different hours as required for project completion.

Education and/or Experience
  • Associates or Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with emphasis in marketing or sales; a college degree is not necessarily required, but is highly desirable; previous experience in the field of marketing is also highly desirable.
Computer Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the internet and Microsoft Office applications preferred, specifically in Outlook, Excel, and Word; additional knowledge of Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Publisher, and document or picture manipulation software is also highly desirable.
Communication Skills
  • The ability to read, write and speak the English language with comprehension skills sufficient to understand safety standards and job performance expectations. This position also requires a high level of superior report writing preparation and communication to upper management and associates.
Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to interpret instructions which may be furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Able to create and maintain all forms of graphs, charts, and diagrams.
